Our Mission

The Kern High School Teachers Association is the exclusive representative of the certificated staff of the Kern High School District. The Association was organized in 1977 as the Kern High Faculty Association and has a current membership of 1,700 members. 96% of all teachers teaching in the District are members of the Association. KHSTA is dedicated to the service of its members and strives to guarantee the emotional, physical and professional well being of each member it represents. Our strength is our unity.
