Happy Friday! We’d like to take a moment to wish all of our moms out there a Happy Mother’s Day!
Updates come out every Friday EXCEPT for the last Friday of the quarter (the KHSTA Newsletter will arrive on these dates). Please check your junk mail folder if you are not receiving them. Past updates will be archived on the KHSTA website (khsta.org).
SPRING ELECTIONS
Candidate statements for site reps and state council candidates will be posted on the Kern High website (khsta.org). Please take a moment to review them. The election will take place next week. If a site only has one candidate, that candidate will become the rep by acclimation and there will not be an election for that site rep.
TRANSFERRING TO ANOTHER SITE NEXT YEAR?
If you are transferring to a different site next year (or getting married, or moving, or anything else that necessitates changing your information), please complete this form so we can maintain accurate records. You can also send your information directly to Dave Ziegler at Liberty.

10 MINUTE MEETINGS
Your site reps will be doing monthly 10 minute meetings to help keep you informed. April’s Topic will be Know Your SISC Benefits. There are a number of benefits that SISC offers that can assist in managing your health. This month’s 10 minute meeting will go into detail about some of these benefits. The handouts/presentations from the 10 Minute Meetings are archived on the khsta.com website.
VIRTUAL TEN MINUTE MEETING
If you missed your site’s 10 minute meeting this month or if your site didn’t hold one, KHSTA exec board will be doing a Zoom meeting on the second Thursday of the month, at 8:00am and again at 4:00pm -- the next one on May 14th.This month’s topic is SISC Benefits.
